Wheelie Clean - Clean Technician Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Wheelie Clean! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your engagement with Wheelie Clean as a self-employed Clean Technician (“You” or “Partner”) and form a legally binding agreement between you and Wheelie Clean Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “Wheelie Clean”).
By applying to join and using the Wheelie Clean platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Status and Eligibility
- You will operate as a self-employed individual and are solely responsible for your own tax, National Insurance contributions, and any other applicable obligations.
- You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom and provide valid documentation upon request.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of any documents or information provided to us.
2. Engagement with the Platform
- Wheelie Clean is a platform connecting Clean Technicians with customers requiring bin cleaning services.
- You are free to accept or decline job offers via the Wheelie Clean Dashboard.
- Both you and the customer can manage schedules, reschedule, or cancel jobs within the platform's terms.
- You can optionally provide photographic evidence of completed cleans using the Wheelie Clean Dashboard.
- Jobs must be completed to a high standard in line with customer expectations and our quality guidelines.
3. Payments
- Customers pay Wheelie Clean via a subscription model for ongoing clean jobs.
- You will be paid (minus 20p + 1.5% card processing fee and 25p platform fee) 7 days after the date of each clean, on a rolling basis.
- All payments are processed via our secure platform, with clear reporting and downloadable invoices and receipts available in your dashboard.
- You are responsible for ensuring your bank account information is accurate and up to date.
- All refunds to the customer are subject to the card processing fee and collected platform fee. Refunds will be subtracted from your balance.
4. Platform Features & Benefits
Wheelie Clean provides:
- Streamlined scheduling and order management
- Integrated payment processing
- Automated recurring job creation
- Financial reporting and downloadable invoices
- Tools to reduce admin tasks and eliminate manual tracking
5. Conduct and Responsibilities
- Deliver services reliably and on time
- Be courteous and professional in all customer interactions
- Maintain appropriate hygiene and health standards
- Promptly report any issues or incidents to Wheelie Clean
- Misuse of the platform, fraud, or consistent failure to deliver acceptable service may result in removal from the platform without notice.
6. Termination
- You may end your engagement with Wheelie Clean at any time by removing your account via your Dashboard. By using this service you are obliged to satisfied previously scheduled clean jobs. Failure to do so may result in an invoice being raised to compensate affected customers.
- We reserve the right to terminate your access to the platform with immediate effect if you breach these Terms or if we determine, at our sole discretion, that continued association with you is not in the best interest of the platform or our customers.
7. Data and Privacy
- You agree that we may collect, store, and process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, including for the purpose of background checks and payment processing.
- All data collected through your use of the platform remains the property of Wheelie Clean.
8. Independent Contractor Acknowledgement
Nothing in these Terms shall render you an employee, agent, or partner of Wheelie Clean. You acknowledge that you provide services independently and at your own risk.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform following changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11. Wastewater Disposal
- Clean Technicians agree to dispose of wastewater responsibly in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Wastewater may only be discharged into foul water drains with appropriate customer permission or must be retained for offsite disposal.
- It is the technician's responsibility to ensure no waste enters storm drains or public water systems without authorisation.
Wheelie Clean is a trading name of L Mitchell-Smith, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom.
